Foreclosure HELP!?
After leaving to make my mortgage payment how long does it take to go to foreclousure. My mortgage is with Ocwen and want to do anything to help me, every time, when I call them are answers calls in a customer service center outside the country. What should I do?
You should contact the staff directly collections (800) 446-2936, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 pm, Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm and Sunday 17:00 to 9:00 PM ET. If this is a case of financial difficulties most lenders have programs for housing in the place for you. Never is a good idea to stop payments on your home. The answer to how long before foreclosure mostly depends on your state, but I think overall I think I could start a foreclosure after 30 days. I would keep trying to contact them. Send to all you can and send something in writing. I find it difficult believe that you have not been contacted, however. They have a mitigation department that could perhaps help with a forbearance agreement if you qualify its difficulty. Good luck!
