Real Estate: Bottom in sight?
There's good news for everyone, it seems that the housing market (which is the catalyst of the current crisis) is about a fund. You down at some point, economies and markets are cyclical after all. Granting of this recession is worse than most, yet have been through this before and we'll get through it. The fact that it is relatively worse, simply means that the relative chance is better. There are incredible deals to happen out there!
A bear like Dr. Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Economy.com said that "the bottom of the housing crisis is in view of the nation. "bassist When economists and media experts are saying that the end is near, the bottom is near. Much of the issue with recessions and recessions is that much of psychology. The day after day Americans hear the record foreclosure rates, and values burying houses then of course it will get worse. We stop spending and start saving, which is simply a consequence (not a good or bad) to live in an economy oriented to consumers.
However, there are only good hearing but the number of news related to the real estate market are trending upward as well. For example, in Utah, during the latter half of 2008, the average number of days the house had been on the market was about 100. In January 2009 the average number of days the house had been on the market dropped to about 75. Therefore, indicating that buyers are slowly returning market, because the inventory of unsold homes is declining Utah. After talking with a friend who is a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Utah, I am starting to see firsthand how round is starting to get busy and has some offers on contract.
A housing prices nationwide are stabilizing and some of the hardest hit markets are showing positive indicators on a monthly basis. The Charlotte Observer wrote an article entitled "Investors orientation real bargain. "Again, this is very good news because investors will contact the housing market before the seller an average house. Investors are looking to take risks in exchange for a reward, the overall average home buyers are looking for safety.
In Instead of these recent trends, now is a very fortuitous time to buy a house and with the consumer psychological perspective, improving with every positive bit of news is becoming safe to buy again. Besides that we have a stimulus plan that will improve sentiment of buyers. We are also experiencing historically mortgage rates low to encourage home buying.
I encourage anyone in a position to buy a house, but the wait for the fear of the market, to stop waiting. Nobody ever predicted exactly when markets fund. If you wait too long or buyers will have more competition going after the home of your dreams and you could lose the opportunity real estate all my life!
